Operating System

Compatible with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).

Performance

The tool is optimized to run smoothly on standard laptops or desktops without requiring a GPU. It uses CPU and disk more heavily than memory, so CPU speed and SSD performance have the biggest impact on speed.

CPU

A dual-core processor at 1.2 GHz is enough to run the tool, but will be slower with larger case folders. A quad-core Intel i7 or better is recommended for better speed.

  • Tested example: Intel i7-7700HQ (2.8 GHz) handled ~200,000 images in 3–4 hours (with 16GB RAM)
  • For best results, use a modern 8-core CPU with higher clock speed

Memory (RAM)

The tool is efficient with memory. It uses less than 2GB of RAM during processing.

  • Minimum: 8GB system memory
  • Recommended: 16GB or more if you run other tools at the same time

Graphics Card (GPU)

No graphics card is required. All processing is done using the CPU.

  • GPU acceleration (NVIDIA CUDA, possibly AMD ROCm) may be supported in future versions

Storage

The tool saves progress often and reads from disk during processing. A fast SSD, especially NVMe, will greatly improve both indexing and search times. Unlike tools that load everything into memory, this one relies more on disk speed.

Storage Requirements

  • SSD is highly recommended; NVMe gives the best performance
  • Needs at least 1GB of free disk space for internal data (indexing, summaries, temp files)
  • 10GB+ recommended depending on case size
  • Your case folder can live on any drive: internal, external SSD, or network share
